2 weeks ago I asked people what they thought about a new schedule filled with projects. I got some replies back and thought everything over long and hard and finally came to a decision.

The New Schedule - starting this March

#VagabondBalloon - Originally I was planning one day dedicated to comics and the rest of the week for other things. But this used to be daily! One day just doesn’t feel right - so how about two? Every Monday and Wednesday (maybe Tues/Thurs) I aim to put up a new installment of Vagabond Balloon - the ongoing autobiographical comic I’ve been doing on and off for a few years. There will be weeks where two just isn’t possible, but with any luck those will be few and far between. I’ve missed this.

#SuburbanSoup - Every other Saturday I’ll be posting a new piece from Suburban Soup - the ongoing project I’m actively trying to form into a series of it’s own. This might include a series overview, character spotlights, background tests, explanations, and maybe even some storyline stuff! There will be a lot of behind the scenes and anything else you guys want to see! Let me know what you want to see and I’ll do my very best to make it happen.

#FanartFridays - Every other Friday I’m going to do a new piece of fan art for something I love. We’ll start out with some band spotlight but from there on who knows! Anime, comics, cartoons, music, maybe even some other artists characters I love dearly. It’ll be my chance to bust loose and just do something cool. Let’s see how it goes!

(Keep in mind new Bravest Warriors premiere every other Thursday, and you can jump on over to joemcgro.tumblr.com to see what I did for the episode. Sometimes it's a lot... sometimes it's not. It's a surprise!)

Mon - Vagabond | Tues - ??? | Wed - Vagabond | Thurs - Bravest | Fri - Fan Art | Saturday - Suburban Soup | Sunday - ???

Why start in March? You already put up a new comic today. I did, me! But I’m still working on a few things that need my immediate attention. For instance, I’m working on a new Suburban Soup short to pitch to the Nickelodeon Animated Shorts Program. That involves a ton of writing and boarding that is going to eat up all of my time. I also still have freelance stuff to do for Bravest Warriors and some other less cool stuff. Once that’s all done I’d like to get started here.

That being said, I will likely still do a comic here or there or other test images to help me get back into the swing of things and wind down for the night. There might be some other stuff posted in between days too.

That’s about it! Thanks for tagging along with me while I do stuff. I hope you like it!

Sounds good. Wish I can get into a schedule of some sort. Well, good luck. And remember Soup is good for the soul. LOL

I desperately miss my "everyday comic" schedule, so I think I needed this. Thanks!
Spacing out Soup is going to end up helping me make sure I don't run out of material too quickly and that everything I do put up is worth while. That way Soup is extra good for the soul!

Heheheh. but hey, its Long Island. You can never run out of material. just have the characters take a trip on Northern State Parkway. That alone is good a dozen stories. LOL.

Oh god, I'd never run out material with even half the horror stories of LI. Unfortunately, since I do aim for it to be picked up some day, I can't reveal too much story stuff or I'll have nothing new to pitch. That's why I need to be a little more selective about my posts regarding the Soup and why there are some big gaps in new releases for it.
